On a more personal note...
I am proud to live in Texas and think Houston is a wonderful place to raise my two sweet kids.
My favorite past-times are making or eating comfort food, singing along, sipping cold beer, planning trips and visiting with friends.
In addition to my Realtor®'s license, I also have a B.S. in Organizational Communications from The University of Texas at Austin.
I am grateful to God for my many blessings including my optimism, healthy kids, sweet family, close friends and my talent for Decorating and Real Estate.

About HGTV’s Brother Vs. Brother…
In the Fall of 2012, my life took an unexpected turn when I went on an HGTV Open Casting Call in Houston, TX. My friends and sub-contractors had been telling me for years that I needed my own decorating show and I always laughed and just shook my head. Then they emailed me a notice about the casting call and over a glass of wine I agreed to go. I made 2 of the “instigators” go with me for fun and was surprised when HGTV asked me for a “callback” the very next day. By December, I had a spot on a new HGTV Reality Competition Show called Brother Vs. Brother. I was thrilled and couldn’t believe it! I am a huge fan of The Property Brothers and so excited about such a unique life experience.
Filming took place in January of 2013. My sweet mom came to take care of my family and I flew to L.A. I can tell you at times it was incredibly glamorous; getting my hair and makeup done for filming the promo, striking poses on the photo shoot and Jonathan Scott performed a magic trick for me and magically produced a quarter from my ear (I still have that quarter!). We even rode in those white vans just like they did on Design Star; but honestly most of it was not glamorous at all and extremely hard work for long hours.
It was an incredible experience and I am so grateful for the opportunity! I am an even bigger fan of Jonathan and Drew now than I was before. They are ADORABLE in person too and are so talented!! My fellow contestants and I will be life-long friends, especially Monica and Torche who were my roommates. I came back home in awe of the people in the entertainment industry; they work very hard and for very long hours. There is so much that goes on “behind the scenes” and I was amazed by the attention to every little detail. I have also been overwhelmed by the support of my friends and family since the show was announced on June 6th. Everyone seems so excited about my news and their enthusiastic response has warmed my heart.
Brother Vs Brother premiered on Sunday, July 21st, 2013 at 9p.m. Central Time.
